Can anyone help me with the name of the Disney film(maybe one of their associate companies) that I believe was shown on television (terrestrial station ie BBC, ITV, C4 or C5) earlier this year, I think. It featured programs called "President John Sheridan" and "Emperor Mollari"
I have previously found this site to be a place where answers are found that cannot be found elsewhere, so haven tried all resources I can think of without success I wondered if there was anyone here who can help.

Thanks for your prompt reply Mike, however I think you may have come to the same conclusion I originally did in that I was drawn to Babylon 5 because the two names originate from that series.
To explain, this is the original question I am trying to answer:
President John Sheridan and Emperor Mollari were programs in which Disney movie?
The question is one from a SF quiz. In trying to answer it I initially went down the Babylon5 route, however I suspected Babylon5 had no connection with Disney and also that the question specified they were "programs" rather that characters/people. Later I vaguely remembering haven watched a movie on TV during which a group of characters (could even have been animated characters) talking about a computer they were investigating and then one of them commenting something like "the only thing I have found so far is two programs called President John Sheridan and Emperor Mollari" At the time I was not particularly watching the movie but remember thinking that the names originally come from Babylon5 even though the movie itself had nothing to do with Babylon 5.
Maybe I have imagined it, but I have been wondering if a Disney writer had an interest it Babylon5 and had written the two names briefly into a Disney movie. It is likely that that was the only time the two names were mentioned in the movie.
Just as an aside, I have noticed that little snippets of information like this have been appearing quite regularly in movies over the last few years.
So in summary, 1. are there any connections with Disney 2. are the two names refered to as programs
I understand this subject matter is right at the extremity of the Television Heaven spectrum but I didnt know where else I might be able to source the information after spending many hours searching the internet.
Thanks for clarifying what you needed, Toby. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful, but I'll continue to research your question. And maybe one of our more brilliant TH contributors (you know who you are) can lend a hand....!

I think I may have now worked out the answer!!!!!!! Its "TRON"
I have now found out that Bruce Boxleitner who played President John Sheridan in Babylon5 played the program Tron in Tron, and Peter Jurasik who played Emperor Mollari in Babylon5 played the program Crom in Tron
So it looks like there IS a Babylon5 connection although I still seem to remember the discussion about a computer!
It looks like the Tron answer will fit the question being made by Disney and being about programs. If it does prove to be right, I shall be of the opinion that the question was a bit obtuse!
