Please can anyone remember a british detective series i think in elate 70s or early 80s (maybe). The main character was an ex cop who ran a book shop. He always wore a t shirt with a picture of William shakespeare on the front. Underneath it said 'Will Power'. Cant remember name of series or actor.
This is Bulman, lardos, although he ran a clock hospital rather than a book shop, but the T shirt rings a bell (if you'll pardon the pun) the series was a spin off from Strangers, which in turn was a spin off from XYY Man.
Bulman was played by the superb Don Henderson in all series.
Here's a brief description of the series I found on Wikipedia,
In the mid-80s the character returned in Bulman. Disillusioned, Bulman leaves the police to work as a private investigator while making a living repairing clocks. He kept a model railway layout in his office, and wore a 'Will Power' T-Shirt, bearing an illustration of William Shakespeare. Mirroring in some ways the post-prison career of Spider Scott[/b]
